    Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section, where we address most common queries from our stakeholders.  Feel free to reach out to us directly, and we'll be happy to assist you further.

    You may be eligible if you

    • live in Australia,
    • are an Australian citizen or hold a Permanent or Special Category Visa;
    • under 65 years old;
    • and have a permanent and significant disability.

    No. NDIS is not available to people over 65, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get assistance. If you are over 65 and currently receive disability supports, you will continue to receive that support, just not through the NDIS.

    Yes. If you find that you are not using funds and would like to adjust the kind of supports and services you receive, you should speak with your Support Coordinator or Plan Manager. Otherwise, it is not beneficial to not use services and save them up if you need to use them.

    An NDIS service agreement outlines the supports that will be provided to you under the NDIS under the terms of your agreement with your service provider/s. The agreement describes how and when support will be provided, as well as the cost and fees.

    Yes, if your circumstances change. Your NDIS plan is reviewed every 12 months. If any changes of circumstances affect the support you need, inform the NDIS, your support coordinator or support provider and they’ll assist you to review your plan. This enables you to assess the progress you’ve made towards achieving your goals and helps you to set new goals for the year ahead
